The Ridges at Ohio University is an abandoned Insane Asylum and Tuberculosis Ward. Formerly the Athens Mental Health Center, part of the Asylum is now used as an art museum, however the wings of the buildings are still abandoned. The Tuberculosis Ward, or TB Ward, is completely abandoned. There is a cemetary near the TB Ward with numbered graves, instead of names, and many activites have been reported in the cemetary and near the TB Ward. Breath
|
In this EVP, we captured what sounded like a breath near the left side of the camera (we panned it left and right, and it showed up primarily in the left speaker) while we were talking. Listen for yourself. |

Clang
|
This EVP depicts a clanging noise heard from far off, and it resembles closely a clanging noise we've heard at an abandoned house at The Ridges (also heard by other groups, see youtube video, 1:35). |

I'm Here
|
Here we captured a whisper when Spenser & Mike were at the TB Ward, and preceeding this clip, we heard Spenser say "Don't look at it" (referring to the TB Ward), and directly after this clip, Mike says "It's too hard." Both of us were talking normally. Neither of us reacted to this whisper. To us, it sounds like "I'm here." This can be heard better in our video. |
